World of Women, Hasbro, and WS Game Company Will Release Monopoly! 

The World of Women (WoW) NFT collection has partnered with Hasbro and WS Game Company to develop a first-of-its-kind Monopoly game.  

WS Game Firm is a luxury board game maker, whereas Hasbro is a multinational play and entertainment company. This is the first relationship of this kind between Monopoly and the NFT sector.  

What is the Galaxy Monopoly World of Women game? 

World of Women has launched a Monopoly game in partnership with Hasbro and WS Game Company. The next World of Women Galaxy Monopoly game will be limited to WoW and WoWG holders.

“Collaborating with a historic brand like Monopoly is a great chance for our collective and community,” said Yam Karkai, co-founder and artist of the collective WoW. “As the WoW brand continues to expand, we are pleased and thrilled to be working with a market leader such as Monopoly for World of Women Galaxy.” 

Initially, World of Women will discontinue the Monopoly NFT. Later, NFT holders may exchange the digital asset for a limited-edition physical board game. All physical board games will be manufactured and distributed by WS Game Company. 

Kerry Addis, co-owner and vice president of product development at WS Game Company, said that joining together with another female-led firm on an endeavor in a traditionally male-dominated sector is a terrific chance to guarantee equitable representation across many industries.

What will be the effects on the NFT industry? 

World of Women’s most recent relationship is unique in the NFT sector. Already, some of the largest companies across sectors, including sports, fashion, and entertainment, have entered the NFT market. 

WS Game Company, which was established in 2000, is now a key contender in the board game market. As an approved Hasbro licensee, they have created a variety of quality games for all ages. This contains, among others, Monopoly, Scrabble, Clue, Chutes & Ladders, and Risk. Consequently, WS Game Company’s debut into the NFT market augurs well for the industry as a whole. 

According to Addis, “The relationship not only signifies the expansion of NFTs in the consumer goods arena but also paves the way for many new digital-first opportunities in the board game business.”
