Genie is the first platform that aggregates NFT marketplaces and enables users to locate and trade NFTs across almost all marketplaces.
UniSwap Labs, the company behind the Ethereum-based cryptocurrency exchange UniSwap, has just made a noteworthy acquisition by purchasing the NFT aggregation platform Genie.
As a result of the purchase, UniSwap will broaden its product offerings to include ERC-20 tokens in addition to NFTs. This means that beginning later this Autumn, users of the platform will have the ability to buy and sell NFTs in all major markets using the web app. In addition, functions like developer application programming interfaces (APIs) and widgets will be included in the platform in order to provide a cutting-edge trading experience through UniSwap NFT.
Later on, in the summer, the firm will be doing airdrops of USDC tokens to members of the preexisting Genie community as a way of saying hello and welcoming them to the Uniswap metaverse. To be eligible for this gift, users will either need to have used Genie more than once prior to April 15th or have a GENIE:GEM NFT in their possession. Alternatively, users may hold a GENIE:GEM NFT.
