The NFT Scavenger Hunt on Netflix and Elvis’ Metaverse Strategy

Alex Salnikov, a co-founder of Rarible, was interviewed by Blockworks this week for their Web3 Watch on NFTs during market downturns.

In a bear market, Rarible’s co-founder speaks about how to develop a community.

The Netflix series “Love, Death & Robots” has organised an NFT treasure hunt.

A digital scavenger hunt seeking nine QR codes linked to NFTs, buried throughout social media accounts, actual billboards, and even inside the programme itself, was part of the third season of the animated series “Love Death & Robots”.

Each of the season’s nine episodes is represented by a different set of NFTs. A QR code may either be saved as an NFT, or a right-click can be used to keep the image to a computer. For the time being, they may only be purchased using Ethereum gas, either a MetaMask wallet or a Coinbase account in the United States. At the time of publishing, only four QR codes had been released.

According to reports, neither Netflix nor the show’s creators profit from the selling of NFTs.

At the Cannes Film Festival last week, “Elvis” debuted, along with a multi-metaverse Elvis on-chain NFT project, from Warner Bros.

The Sandbox, Decentraland, Voxel Architects, DAPPCRAFT, and Metakey collaborated with Elvis Presley Enterprises, and Web3 company Run it Wild to establish a gathering area for Elvis enthusiasts in the metaverse.

Based on the 1968 spectacular that heralded Elvis’ stage return, the NFT project will release 1:1 Elvis Genesis Key NFTs. As a bonus, members will also be able to vote on previously unseen releases from the Elvis archive, which will be made available to the general public in the future.
