Snoop Dogg’s recent collaboration with Eminem, “From The D To The LBC”, received a nomination for Best Hip Hop Video at MTV VMAs.

The most recent track that Eminem and Snoop Dogg have worked on together is an absolute banger. These two titans of the rap game worked together on a gloomy track that touches on cannabis, internet likes, and other things. The fantastic music video that they also published with it is, however, the real highlight of the night. Check out how they make the most of the intellectual property rights they own to the Bored Ape NFT! Throughout the music video, Snoop Dogg and Eminem pair their animated versions of bored apes with various sparks of color and cartoons relating to smoking pot.

Premiered at an NFT exclusive music event, the song and the music video did not stay locked in the NFT universe and became available for music fans worldwide. The first collaboration between hip-hop megastars in over 20 years made a wave and was noticed by the public and critics alike. It is the first official recognition for the video, but probably it won’t be the last.
This year “From The D To The LBC” is listed among nominees in the Best Hip-Hop Video section along with Future ft. Drake, Tems — “Wait for U”, Kendrick Lamar — “N95”, Latto — “Big Energy”, Nicki Minaj ft. Lil Baby —“Do We Have a Problem?” and Pusha T — “Diet Coke”.
This nomination is a major boost and showcases how NFTs come in handy for different purposes.
