Pepsi teamed up with American singer and songwriter Mary J. Blige to be co-presenters of the inaugural “Strength of a Woman” Festival & Summit. They managed different activities in backing female artists, musicians, creatives, entrepreneurs, and more in Atlanta. One of the highlights of the weekend was the free POAP NFTs given solely to the summit attendees.

The opening night performance featured a Gen Z Concert in the Tabernacle of Atlanta. The event spotlights Pepsi Music Lab finalist StarchildKayla, which debuted her new original track, Up!.

Moving forward, celebrity chef Carla Hall kicks off Pepsi Dig In’s new restaurant royalty program. This initiative mainly celebrates black-owned restaurants, where the community can assign their favorite eateries to join this list. During the event, Carla Hall mediated a panel of Black female-owned restaurants, conferring on the current issues surrounding the food industry.

Additionally, Pepsi Stronger Together donated $20,000 to rejuvenate the City of Refuge and support women in need. This donation will be useful in providing essential professional and everyday clothing, and also personal care items. The City of Refuge is an organization that delivers services to families and individuals in trouble. They assist their female residents to get back on their feet and support the donation-based closet program.

Eventually, Pepsi operated with some of the best female Web3 artists in the market to give out free Proof of Attendance Protocols (POAPs) NFTs. The POAPs NFTs were on display throughout the event. As a matter of fact, all the summit attendees acquired one.

In short, the event was a gigantic success. Pepsi continues to use its power on the global stage and its rich roots in music and entertainment to impact change.
