Metaverse Boxing Game Starring Muhammad Ali to Be Released by ASM

Muhammad Ali NFT Game

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali

The first metaverse boxing game is being released by Altered State Machine, a Web3 artificial intelligence developer. Ali: The Next Legends, a new video game, will employ artificial intelligence to “train” fighters as they rise through the ranks.

Although ASM has not yet launched the game, the business has disclosed that it will have non-fungible tokens. A “Brain” and a “Boxer” NFT are required for users to participate. Brain NFT and Boxer NFT may be paired before matches.

To prepare the Boxer NFT for a battle, the player must grow this Brain NFT throughout the game’s training mode. During training, it’s possible to focus on specific boxing abilities, such as jabs, uppercuts, and hooking. After completing the training, users may engage in actual combat with their Boxer NFTs.

Anyone expecting a full-blown metaverse fighting game is out of luck. Artificial intelligence selects the winner of “simulations,” which occur in a computer lab. On the other hand, traditional blockchain games allow players to trade their NFTs with other players.

With the help of Muhammad Ali Enterprises and the Authentic Brands Group, Altered State Machine has developed the game. “Muhammad Ali — The Next Legends” does not say how frequently it will utilise the iconic boxer’s image.

In a statement, ASM’s CEO, David McDonald, stated the firm was “thrilled and humbled” to have Muhammad Ali join Web3. MCDONALD ARGUES THAT using ASM’s artificial intelligence would add intrigue to the game by creating “limitless possibilities.” He also referred to the Authentic Brands Group collaboration.

ASM has not yet set the game’s release date. Those interested in the game may visit the game’s official website and follow the game’s social media accounts to stay up to date.

Blockchain Games are accelerating NFT Adoption

NFT Twitter is dominated by profile picture projects, while blockchain games are driving the best use of NFT. For months now, NFTHi has been reporting that Axie Infinity is dominating the globe in NFT ownership, which is likely due to the game’s popularity in the Philippines. There is a simple explanation: Filipinos may make more money playing the game than they can by working a minimum pay job.

Fun gameplay mixed with money earned by selling in-game NFTs has proven an irresistible combination for several players. It is possible to supplement or replace a regular income by playing games like Axie Infinity, ZED RUN, etc. That’s what the best NFT games do.
