After releasing in May of last year, MetaKey is still impacting the Web3 world.
Venture capital and software business Animoca Brands sponsored a seed investment fund round of $3.5 million for the DCLBlogger-founded startup.
As well as DCG, Sfermion, B3V, Spartan Group, and MHC Digital Finance were among the significant investors in this seed round.
This year, MetaKey has evolved to be a significant player in the Web3 sector, participating in several collaborations and partnerships. Almost 30 people, including artists, developers, and more, work on the project.

MetaKey’s great start is being built upon
It is now worth $50 million after just a year on Web3. Several of the industry’s most well-known investors have joined forces with MetaKey in the wake of the most recent round of initial investment.
These additional funds will be used to support a wide range of critical initiatives. Improve the inter-metaverse and cross-blockchain social center on the New Ganymede blockchain. When it comes to the season pass reward system, players will be able to make use of the MetaKey and other metaverse platforms. The funds earned via the fundraising campaign will be used to expand the company’s staff.

A new Metakademy education platform is also in the works. There are now over 6,000 members, and that number is steadily rising. MetaKey is a one-of-a-kind NFT initiative that gives users access to educational resources, games, and special offers.
