Tech giant Meta is upgrading its newly launched avatar store to offer new fashion looks by teaming up with digital fashion provider DressX.
The complete looks for the avatars vary in price from $2.99 to $8.99. The first DressX x Meta collection was open on July 19 at 10 a.m. PT.

Further, Meta will continue to offer free outfit options to marketplace customers. Users can use their DressX costumes on all platforms held by Meta. These platforms include VR headset Quest, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and others.

DressX will acquire a portion of revenue from this collaboration, and new DressX collections will be released on monthly basis.Ā Meta has also indicated that it plans to eventually allow self-reliant creators to monetize their designs.
With this latest collaboration with the tech giant, DressX joinsĀ the likes of Prada, Balenciaga & Thom BrowneĀ to launch the NFT collection in their avatar store.
The avatar store was originally launched in the United States, Canada, Thailand, and Mexico, and it will soon be expanded to other countries in the future.
