Who will believe that Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s first-ever tweet as an NFT could sell for just under $280? The current owner Sina Estavi of the NFT listed it for $48 million last week.

NFT Tweet Sale

Iranian-born crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi purchased the NFT tweet for $2.9 million in March 2021.

Last Thursday, he announced on Twitter that he wishes to sell the first-ever NFT tweet. The 50% of the earnings, which he assumed would at least exceed $25 million, to the charity.

The auction closed on Wednesday, with just seven total offers ranging from0.0019 ETH (almost $6) to 0.09 ETH ($277 at current prices).

After the auction, Estavi mentions that The deadline was over, but if he gets a good offer, he might accept it, or might not even sell it.

Estavi has two days to accept the bid, or it will expire!

Estavi, whose crypto ambitions for Bridge Oracle and CryptoLand were cut short following his arrest in Iran last year. Nowadays, he is in the preparation of relaunching his Bridge Oracle tokens (BRG), which were originally on the Tron blockchain, to the Binance Smart Chain.

BRG investors are waiting for Estavi’s relaunch to exchange their old tokens for the new ones. Estavi, who announced the token swap on the same day he put up Dorsey’s tweet NFT for sale again, says that the swap is being run manually and the process may take at least two months to complete.
