ENS NFTs Overtake BAYC in Daily Trade Volume

Frenzied buying of NFTs for three- and four-digit Ethereum Name Service (ENS) domains has made daily trade volume surpass that of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) on OpenSea.

One of the biggest sales of all-time has also taken place, with the 555.eth NFT is being bought for $158,000 worth of ether.

Here’s the tweet,

Owners of Ethereum Name Service domains having four digits or less gain entry into an elusive private Discord channel dubbed the 10kclub.

The recent floor price of three-digit domains is 6.5 ETH ($18,850), while that for four-digit domains is quickly approaching 0.5 ETH ($1,450). NFT trade volume was up by 191.59% over the past 24 hours and 2,012% over the past week. At the time of writing, ENS was trading at $17.91.

What is ENS?

It is a widely integrated blockchain naming standard. It provides decentralized naming for wallets, websites, and much more. The ultimate goal is to make the Ethereum-based web easier to access and easily understandable for humans. This is similar to how the Internet’s Domain Name Service makes the internet more accessible for people.
