Binance bring in Khaby as their brand Ambassador 

In order to expand their exposure for Web3, the cryptocurrency exchange platform Binance has partnered with Khaby Lame, the most famous TikToker. The influencer would symbolize the exchange as a global brand ambassador while dispelling myths about the blockchain and cryptocurrency industries.

With his videos criticizing DIY content providers who overcomplicate things, Lame attained 142 million followers on the social media platform TikTok and quickly reached popularity. He performs his signature move i.e. ‘Khaby move’ of raising both of his palms as he offers witty life tips that make things simpler.

Khaby and Binance to debunk Myths surrounding Web3

According to Binance, Khaby will be making content that breakdown myths about Web3 using his recognizable content style. An executive at Binance named James Rothwell asserts that Lame will add relevance & relatability as Web3 adoption rises.

Rothwell presented that with so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was an ideal match to have Khaby on board to help disprove some of the myths around this space.

The Tiktoker also asserted, that he has been curious about Web3 for some time, and hopped at the chance to partner with a leader like Binance because it aligns correctly with what he usually does i.e. make complex stuff easy and fun for everyone. 

Khaby also adds that he considers his followers like family, and he is always looking for new challenges and engaging content to share with them.

The TikTok celebrity will be operating with Binance to develop NFT collections with the aim of increasing engagement with his fans, in addition to delivering information about Web3 and dispelling misconceptions.
