Beatport and PIXELYNX Launch Festival NFTs

Pixelynx and Beatport are launching Synth Heads’ non-fungible token (NFT) Collection, an online music retailer specializing in electronic music

Molded by Deadmau5’s Richie Hawtin and Joel Zimmerman, Pixelynx is a new music metaverse gaming platform. The first generative NFT drop with Beatport took place in January 2022. Interestingly all 3,030 NFTs sold out in less than a minute.

As part of a collaboration with the premier UK techno event Junction 2, a small number of Synth Heads NFTs will be released, granting fans exclusive access to the London-based festival and its offerings.

Membership in the Synth Head community, day tickets to the Junction 2 Festival 2022, Junction 2 and Beatport merch, unique vinyl releases, and continued access to future ticket drops are just a few of the benefits you’ll enjoy as a member.

There will also be five fortunate NFT holders who will be awarded a Golden Ticket, which will provide them access to a backstage artist bar and tickets to Junction 2’s next large-scale London event this summer.

From Dixon and Amelie Lens to Robert Hood and Four Tet, the Junction 2 event occurs in London’s Trent Park on June 18-19. The original Synth Head NFT holders will access the festival’s guest list and line-jumping privileges.

The new Synth Heads NFTs will be on sale at 1 p.m. EST on Tuesday, May 31st. The collection will include 300 NFTs, each costing 0.15 ETH.

NFTs that can be used in the real world are soaring

While Beatport and Pixelynx are the most well-known heirs of NFT decreases connected to IRL usefulness, they are not the only ones.

Coachella united with cryptocurrency exchange FTX to provide free NFTs to 2022 pass holders. NFTs received special treatment, such as a separate entrance, complimentary food and drink, and exclusive goods.

Fans may buy Coachella NFTs and digital treasures on the Solana blockchain to access distinctive on-site experiences, tangible objects, lifelong festival tickets, and “future adventures” on the Solana blockchain.

Even outside Coachella and other significant music events, individual artists and performers are taking full advantage of NFT technology.
