The first quarter of 2022 has seen many hot new trending NFT collections already and there are even more to come as different NFT trends move forward.
Here are the 5 best new and Upcoming NFT Collections which are bound to make a ton of noise when they launch in the near future.
1. VeeFriends Series 2
VeeFriends is a Gary Vaynerchuk NFT project built as a meaningful intellectual property and an extraordinary community.
We are officially less than a day away from the beginning of the mint for the new VeeFriends NFT collection. To clarify, the 12 and a half day presale for VeeFriends Series 2 begins on April 12th.
The Friends List sale is the most important part of the presale for the new Gary Vee NFT collection. People were able to win Friends List spots through a raffle that took place on the 5th of April.
However, to enter the raffle, people had to have at least one of Gary Vee’s Book Games tokens. Each token equals one entry.
In addition, there were a total of 32,000 spots available from a pool of 120,000 Book Games tokens (minus the tokens Gary Vee owned). The rest of the 55,000 VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs are allocated hence, 10,255 new Series 2 NFTs will go to holders of the original VeeFriends NFT collection.
Further, those holders will also be able to claim those NFTs starting on April 12. On April 24, a public sale for the remaining 10,000 available VeeFriends Series 2 NFTs will take place.
Undoubtedly, this new series of NFT collections from Gary Vee is going to be one of the top contested mints of the year.
These excellent animated NFTs will offer two different static PFPs for holders.
2. The Possessed
Having gathered an immense Twitter following within a few months, and without an official release, The Possessed is a new and upcoming NFT collection that is getting an impeccable response and hype in the NFT space.
This standout, animated art has clearly attracted a lot of attention. Daily thousands of people trying to get on the presale list for this new NFT collection with blue-chip potential every day on Twitter. Not to mention that it has created all this hype without a Discord presence or a proper roadmap.
3. Sneaker Heads
If the 127,000 followers for The Possessed seem impeccable, then Sneaker Heads’ 211,000-strong following is just on a different level. It is an Ultra-hyped New NFT collection from a renowned shoe designer.
Similar to The Possessed, Sneaker Heads is also a mystery, with a private Discord and no website. While this may be true, the unique art and a well-known creator have made this upcoming NFT project reach top-tier levels of hype.
Sneaker Heads is in the process of dealing out precious few allow list spots on its Twitter to lucky followers. Using the same token, it is sending out invites to its Discord server randomly.
There may be no sense of guarantees in NFTs, but the ridiculous Twitter performance and attractiveness of Sneaker Heads is perfectly appealing to many NFT enthusiasts. In short, Sneaker Heads is all set up for an amazing launch when it happens.
4. Imaginary Ones
Imaginary Ones are distinct projects with major artistic differences, but, it’s impossible to look at Imaginary Ones and not think about the Invisible Friends NFT collection.
Imaginary Ones shares some commonalities with one of the most hyped new NFTs of the year so far i.e. Invisible Friends. There’s the formless – invisible, you might even say – bodies of the NFT characters and then there’s the similarity in the walking animation of both projects.
In fact, Imaginary Ones is working with levels of pre-mint hype that no other NFT project may have ever seen before. In fairness, its mind-blowing 446,000 Twitter followers are down to much more than a resemblance to Invisible Friends. Imaginary NFT collection is the product of veteran 3D animation studio OFFSET.
In short, if OFFSET’s work is good enough for Apple, McDonald’s, Facebook, Spotify, Unilever, and other major corporations, it just might be good enough for the NFT space.
5. Garbage Friends
There’s not too much in the way of details when it comes to this collection. It boasts an impressive 120,000 Twitter followers. The Twitter handle has 3 tweets, two of which are just memes. The other is a sneak peek showing what the NFT art may look like and that’s it nothing else.
So this begs a question- why all the hype?
Garbage Friends is a new NFT collection. It is brought in by Markus Magnusson of Invisible Friends.
In general, there will be one Garbage Friends NFT for every Invisible Friend. The Invisible Friends website does mention that there will be extra NFTs for non-holders.
There are many more new NFT collections coming this year that are exciting in their own right, but none of them will be as hyped as the ones mentioned above.
